Prof. Dr. Petra Bendel<\/strong> is a Professor of Political Science at the Institute for Political Science<\/a> at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg. She leads the research on Migration, Displacement, and Integration (MFI)<\/a>. She is a founding member of the FAU Research Center for Human Rights Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU CHREN)<\/a>, where she directs numerous research projects as well as practice-oriented pilot projects on migration-related topics. She is also actively involved in political consulting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stefan Kordel<\/strong> is a Research Fellow and Project Leader, working on socio-geographical issues in the fields of tourism, migration, and social participation. His research utilizes qualitative methods and focuses on rural areas in Europe (Bavaria, hinterlands of the Spanish Mediterranean coast), as well as in Latin America and the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
